I am sitting here in my office watching the Blue Angles practice for the Air Show this weekend.  Awesome!  Noisy as hell though and I can't help but wonder how much they pay for fuel?

Good point about the taxpayers buying their fuel to show off.

Here is kind of a break down.  The planes are down on the bottom of the page.  Mind you that the figures for operating a fighter jet per hour are based on 1998 figures, not $3.50 a gallon 2008 figures, so logicly it would cost a ton more today.
