I love how the traffic drops on Friday nights and Saturdays,......everyones FISHIN'!!!

We have had a huge growth spurt this spring but many of us spent the winter together griping and moaning and getting on each others nerves.  

Yet we prevailed.

So here we are, everyone, no matter where you live, has active bass roaming their waters. G A M E  O N!!!

Let's take a second and raise a mug to the '08 season because winter will be here again before we know it!!

Come Monday, the board will light up again, ...."My tournament or outing" will be on fire and all the new people who will hear about us this weekend will be posting their intros.

Pretty cool clubhouse we got here,lol.

I wish I was fishing, but I AM having fun.  My daughter and her husband are out of town for the weekend and we are watching my 2 year old grandson.  

We spent the evening watching Happy Feet and A Bug's Life and eating Teddy Grahams.  Tomorrow we are going to buy him a life jacket so he can go out on the boat with me for the first time.  He loves playing in the boat in the driveway.  I am curious to see how he likes being on the water.

Being a grandfather is a lot more fun than being a father.

Yeah this weekend is a first since March, I'm taking the weekend off. Time for some "Daddy time". Come Monday.....some biggun' better look out! I'm gonna play hooky.

Anyway, it's true Russ. Things used to slow down here this time of year but, we're growing and that's great!
