UFC's "Rampage" arrested

Featured Replies

I just heard the news earlier today myself.  I wonder what kind of trouble he is in.  His MMA career could possibly be finished which sucks because he is a very entertaining fighter.

well i dont think his mma career is over ... i mean dana white flew out and posted bail for him ,,, that says tons .... also he may do some time ,, but i really dont think he will ....

The reason I say that is because of the amount of time he could do...he is at the pinnacle of his career right now and a couple of years away is a long time in a sport like MMA.  If that happens Dana will drop him quick anyway.  I know the UFC isn't technically the only show in town but at the same time its leaps and bounds ahead of most everything else.

If all he gets is some publicity and a light sentence then its really no big deal.  BJ Penn was charged with "assaulting" an officer and he is a title holder now....who knows...its a crappy situation regardless.

I didn't see him as the type of guy that would to this either.  Still I would be suprised if he saw jail time that would effect his MMA career.  I'm bettng work release at the worst.

Very bad decisions on the part of Rampage. Depending on his prior record, he could just get probation if he's been fairly clean in the past. If not, he may get a few months. Either way, I doubt he'll get messed with too much in jail.  ;D
