Beautiful story.

Don't know if I could do it.

The guy is really a wonderful person.

What can a person possibly say about that? just let my jaw drop, watch and listen

True devotion and unconditional love.  What a better world we'd be.  Thanks for the post Russ.  Anyone familiar with that song at the end?

God puts certain people before us as an example  ;)

Anyone familiar with that song at the end?

"I Can Only Imagine" by Mercy Me

This has become a staple song in contemporary Christian music about what one would do when in the presence of Almighty God.  You can watch the video on youtube, I think.  Very powerful.

Russ, thanks for posting the story.  I heard a blurb about it on NBC the other day, but missed it when it originally aired.  That's some truly inspiring stuff for my Tuesday.  Thanks!!  :)

Hate to sound like a softy but this kind of got to me a little bit. Pretty rough watching the dad in the interview when he breaks down.

Kind of makes all the wars and other crap going on in the world go away for a little while.

That is a real MAN, Father, and Daddy.

Anybody can be a dad, It takes something special to be a Daddy.

It is people like that that give me hope that man kind is not totally bad.

Yeah I saw this video a few months back. Just about anyone who becomes a parent talks about the sacrifices they would make for their kids, but until you are in the position for real sacrifice you never know.

This guy really delivers. Even my worst day with any of mine to date is probably easier than his everyday and he really comes through. Just an awesome dude.

This puts a lot of things into perspective. We think we have a bad day when we don't catch a fish or lose a lure or something stupid like that. Not to mention the incredible physical shape his father is in, I would say 1:1000 could run an iron man. But he is so committed just to see his son happy that he completes it with an extra 100 pounds. Amazing ..
