Well, by the time the storm reached Memphis, she had lost most of her strength, but not all her water! Thankfully, we received a drenching, 2"-4" depending on exactly where you live. This storm was great for us and I'm looking forward to another.

Well, we have Gustav coming our way now.

I am really interested to see if Lake Lanier gets any water out of all this.

Right now it's pouring at my house and has been since mid day yesterday.  The rain is supposed to go all day and some into the night.  Laniers just up the road, so I know it's getting a decent soak.  We needed this rain so bad.  On last check, Lanier was over 18ft down.  Hopefully Gustav will bring us some more!

RW, we didn't get over .25 inch here. :'(

Send it our way!  We need the rain desperately!
