Are you smarter than a 5th grader?

This is a 5th grade math problem. If you can open the spreadsheet,you'll

see it's a very small list of people who have gotten the correct number.

This is not a trick question. This is a real math problem, so don't say

that a bus

has no legs.

There are 7 girls in a bus.

Each girl has 7 backpacks.

In each backpack, there are 7 big cats.

For every big cat there are 7 little cats.

Question: How many legs are there in the bus?

PM me for the answer......................

This one has made the rounds before.

Add my name to the list please.

You just have to break it down by the number of cats. Start with each backpack.

::)

oh yeah, and the tricky part.....don't forget the girls have legs too! ;)

And aren't we supposed to assume a bus driver is present?

I'll take a shot. Total of 49 packs. 56 cats per pack.

49x56=64344 cats x 4=257376 cat legs.

7 girls x 2 = 14 girl legs

1 driver = 2 legs

Total legs = 257392.

Uh, not quite. Assume no driver.
