Set one of my game cameras up along an old road I've been clearing for the last couple of weeks.

Then you've got this monster.  Can't wait to get a crack at it.

When is opening day for you Burley?

Sweet tender backstraps - yum gotta love em .

How long do fawns keep their spots?  We had a doe and her fawn in the back yard last week and the fawn still had spots.  The boogers ate my impatiens.

That's what you get for telling them not to try your patience

I've killed and seen a couple in November with spots.

I've also seen several in early August with no spots.

Bow season opens first Sat. in October.  I don't bowhunt although I'm tempted every year to drag my old PSE out of the shop and sling a few.

Season opens for me on the first Saturday of November.  Head upstate for a week of fun, good food, nasty farts, and fellowship.  Oh yeah, and tons of blood lust.

I see a picture of bambi and then a picture of part of a hunter in front of the camera.

What kind of sick and twisted blood sports are you guys into there in the great state of Virginny?
