What new station do you watch most?

Featured Replies

I watch MSNBC

Hate fox news! >:(

"What new station do you watch most?"

I don't have any "new" stations.  I only have rabbit ears, so it's the same old thing (ABC, NBC, and CBS).  As for Fox, it's not a "new" station either, it's fairly old. ;)  I guess the "news" you've been getting from MSNBC has misled you. ;D

You know, I've watched a little of Planet Green, mostly the "Greenburg" show.  I followed it for about six or seven episodes and then lost interest/got too busy.  I did notice that Bill Nye is back on there with "Stuff Happens".

Other than that, I don't watch any other "new" channels.

Just my old favorites:

ESPN, History, Discovery, Food, HGTV, VH1 Classic, etc.

The Science guy is BACK??!

I loved this guy when I was a young lad.  I'll have to check it out.

Yeah, he's back.  I still show some of the Bill Nye's to my science classes.  They all thought he was dead.  :o

While some of the broadcasters display an obvious agenda, I think they do a very good job of including various viewpoints. Much better than other news stations.

I will leave it at that because this will surely get into a political discussion  :-X

I think they're all horrible, leaving obvious questions that should be asked dangling unasked and reporting opinion as if it was fact.  There's not much of a difference between all of them although I think Fox is closer to reality.  Sometimes if you watch a mixture of Fox and CNN you can figure out the truth in the middle.

Jim Lehrer News Hour as much as I can.   It is as balanced as can be had on TV.

Too much opinion and commentary bandied as "news" on other networks.  On top of that, all the self-appreciating, self-indulgent, self-righteous, self-appointed "political pundit" so-called journalist pr**ks, like...

Wolf Blitzer

Campbell Brown

Anderson Cooper

Lou Dobbs

Jack Cafferty

Chris Matthews

Keith Olberman

etc

..make me want to puke up my lunch.  These turds aren't experts at ANYTHING except sitting on their high horses and passing judgement on people that do work.   Nothing but a bunch of oxygen-stealing rubes.

I don't like any U.S news sources.  I do occasionally read the WSJ for business, but that's about it.

This is way easy too ansewer ------ ESPN news . Don't care about politics , cause we are screwed any way we go -  The only thing that really matters is sports  ;)

I use to watch a lot of history, discovery, and speed. Now all they show is there dumb reality shows. Speed use to be racing and racing shows even durning the off season. Now all they show is pinks, wrecked, and unique whips. Espn only gets watched durning college football in my house.

I watch Headline News, CNN and Fox, having to alternate at work each day btwn the two.  Both lean opposite ways, but not overly so (until after 8pm on both stations).  I like them all, don't find too much to get politically inflamed over (some people say it's the Commie News Network for CNN, some people call Fox Faux News - but these folks are usually far left or right folks...).

It is interesting that people comment so much on Fox leaning right, but nobody says boo about MSNBC leaning left.

Overall, I would say that Fox has to win if I have to watch at home because they have hotter women anchors than any of the others... Megan Kelly at Fox is my favorite:

They are all pretty biased one way or another.  Its just what happens when corporations buy out our news media and produce topics that are not actually news worthy but instead produce all of this infotainment crap based on ratings.  Instead of good stories that actually INFORM us as to the real social strengths/weaknesses of our society, we get to listen to idiots like Nancy DisGrace talk about what the Tot Mom did today for the last solid month and a half.  Hey, but if it "bleeds it leads."  ::)

Honestly, our current news system is just unrealistic.
