My New Fishing Hole

Featured Replies

I moved into a new house this past weekend and it has lake access. I am so excited about being able to fish this lake whenever I want. This is probably the second best lake in my county and is private. Here is a google map image.

What did you say the gate code was ?

Believe it or not there is no gate or anything like that, but the lake is heavily lined with houses and if they see boats on the water that they don't know they will call the cops on you.

We'll be looking for pictures of the bass pretty soon.

Want to hear some good news?  There are no wastewater treatment facilities within a five-mile radius or within the drainage basin of this lake.

This lake is awesome. I believe it used to be a spring fed lake. I think the spring has dried up but i'm not sure. I have fished this lake many times in the past before the homeowners were so strict on lake access. I haven't fished it in a couple of years, but the last time I fished it, I caught a 5lb Largemouth. Another plus about this lake is that it is awesome for swimming. The water is superclear and there are a ton of bass.
