can you fish them in 5ft of water or is that too shallow? also for the T-rig'd plastics should i add any beads or just a drop shot weight?

in my opinion, too shallow is on the ground

i dont use beads, but i dont know tht much

so... i would say no 5ft is not too shallow, not at all

I agree. I also find they work very, very, very well when dragged off the bank into the water. Give it a try!

I have already suggested spending some time in the BassResource

Library, but I will recommend it again. You will learn far more from

the "Fishing Articles" than you will here on the Forum. You need a

grasp of the basics and it is available there.

I pulled two large mouth out of no more then a foot and a half of water yesturday. On a four inch worm. Shallows where its at.

Welcome the forum and in my opinion, there are as many fish taken on soft plastics in those depths as there are with other styles. Especially in Spring.
