I think he's tearing his team apart from the inside out. His ego will be their down fall.

He is like a Mini Me of Al Davis from Oakland. Its a side shoe, who cares. I mean my Patriots went thru hell with spygate and here he is putting his preseason on HBO, does anyone understand that?

Whew! I finally found a Cowboys thread.

I voted yes. Jerry Jones and Al Davis are good buddies and they think alike when it comes to running or more like ruining a team. Al Davis has run the Raiders organization straight into the ground over the past 5-6 years. If things dont change in Big D, it could happen there too.

And Jones, he wants to get all these star players but he doesn't have anyone on staff that has the stones to keep those guys in line. Wade Phillips clearly is not that guy. Decent coach, but not a big enough disciplinarian for all the 'superstar' personalities.

The Cowboys are circling the drain!

Jerry Jones is the best owner/GM in the NFL.

Unless Jerry can play Left tackle, and both guards, kick chip shot field goals before half, like against the Cards, stop the penalties, tackle on special teams, block for special teams, cover someone in the secondary?    I have to vote no.

Did I mention play QB?

What stars?    We added Pacman and Zack Taylor on Defense.    Two rookies at corner.

Offensively, we added draft picks and traded for Roy Williams, which we have tried for two years to get.     lol    We don't have enough stars yet.

What other owner can boast of 3 Lombardi trophies?    Very few can.

Go Cowboys!!!!!

People have been saying that since he bought the team... then when they were winning super bowls, most of the people eased up. Now that they are not a dominant team, the talk stirs back up.

Say what you want, but even with bad personnel decisions on and off the field, he's not afraid to spend money when he thinks it can help.

Scott, (I'll cut you some slack since you are a faithful Cowboy hater in good times and bad!)   ;D  You make it sound like the entire team is out of control... seems like there are only 1-2 guys with behavior problems right now. Can you name a team that doesn't have at least one thug on it? Penalties and sloppy play are a different issue, still a coaching issue, but different problem. I agree that Wade isn't the guy, I didn't like him for this team, even before he was hired.

For that matter, I bet you can't name very many coaches that didn't have problems when their team was stinking it up.  Most teams that are playing crappy are heavy on penalties.

He had a pretty good coach when he was winning earlier but because the coach was getting more attention then Jones was , he had to go.

I am in the Who Cares catagory.

Really, it is up to the ball players to go out and earn their living by giving 100% on every play even if they do not like the owner, coach, assistant coaches, fellow players, the city or their position.

So Who Cares????  :o

If he would just stay out of the way and give an open checkbook to someone in the know there is no telling what the boys could do.

Couldn't have said it better myself!!!!

Thanks for cutting me a little slack Keith.   You've got to understand that I work with 4 Cowboy fans every day of the week. So this current 'slide' has been ammo for me.  ;)
