It's cold in Houston today. A little ice but non sticking as it comes down. Supposed to be back in the 70s by Sunday. Tipical Houston weather.

Hmmmm, 34 and sleet in Houston and its going to hit 60 today around DC. What's wrong with this picture?  :-?

Yeah, we got the same storm in Austin last night.  It was weird, like actually raining ice.  Not sleet, and not hail.  Like flat, wide, long, thin sheets of ice.  Some seemed like the size of my hand, just falling from the sky.  Really cool, actually.

It sounds like the weather we've been having the last few days. The only problem here is we won't be back in the 70's by Sunday.

What the heck is this white stuff. My boat cover went from grey to white. 32* still light sleet and snow here in Houston.

Out here in Tomball it snowed steady for about 30-45 minuites. My friend's dad (who works for the FAA) says we'll be getting a 'blizzard' tonight. Last time it snowed was christmas eve a few years back.

Well they said the ground was too warm for it to stick. I live on the east side and it has and still is snowing so hard it has covered the ground anyway. flakes at least the size of silver dollars. It's been 4-5 years since it has done this here.My truck has about 2 inches on it now.

Well it is still at it only not as hard. Been at it for the last two hours nonstop.

It's 10:30pm and we have 4 1/2 inches on the ground and it is still snowing here on the east side of Houston. It's pretty, but what a mess

Now, I'm getting snow...in Louisiana!!! From what the in-laws said, this is the first time it's snowed in any volume in almost 20 years. Similarly to Houston, we're supposed to be in the upper-60's this weekend.

And I moved from Tennessee because of the weather.
