That's huge for a black bear. Our bears are less than half that. Make a nice rug out of it. Hope everyone is ok.

I'm not sure.  I know he was combining corn when he hit it.  This late in the year i'm guessing that the bear was denned up.  I just don't know how a bear dens in a cornfield.   :-/

Here's a pic I got on my game camera about 12 yrs ago.  Standing on my tippy toes, I could barely touch the broadcaster on the bottom side of the feeder.  Locals figured somewhere between 7-800 lbs.

What a beautiful animal. I wonder how it tastes?  I have always thought that I would make a good bear, or house cat.

Bear's really greasy.  Doesn't taste bad, but I wouldn't go looking for it, if you know what I mean.

As to the other part - I don't understand?

I think it means what it says, and yes cat is good! (no really I'm serious!) When I lived on Saipan, cat and dog was common quinine!

Holy Schneikie!  I believe that black bear would give a grizzly bear a run for it's money!  That bear could eat cub scouts like popcorn.

Not sure, but I think he means cuisine.

That pic that I got was about 75yds. from my bow stand.  Until that point, I had never taken a side arm hunting.  Rumor had it that that particular bear was a problem bear trapped by the DNR up in the Superior area and released in the lower Chequamegon National Forest.
