I'll start off by saying I've got surgery scheduled for tomorrow morning to fix a hernea.  I'm actually happy that I'll now have off the entire Christmas holiday though.  

After being happy when I left work that I'll be off for a while I got a phone call on the way home.  I finally got an interview with the Sheriffs Department!!!  My interview is on 12-22.  

Not 15 minutes after I get home I look at my email and see I've won something.  I was on KVD's website some time back and put my name in on the Plano tackle bag giveaway.  Well, I won.  I now get the tackle bag and a signed Plano hat from KVD!!!  I also have to send in a photo of myself to be posted on his website!  I don't know how long it will be before it's on there but I'll be the big guy with the goatee.  

Just figured I'd share my luck today!

DD, I'll be working at the Middle River Regional Jail if I get it.  Say a prayer for me.

I've now had my surgery.  It went just fine.  Me being such a big guy the spinal didn't take all the way so they had to use some local anethesia to knock me out.  I'm a jokester and I had a blast messin' with the docs and nurses.  ;D  Anyway, now I have 26 more days off work to recoup and enjoy some time off.
