I love flan. I was eating at a Cuban rest. one time and ordered some flan. I was shocked when I saw the waitress pour Aunt Jemima pancake syrup over the top of it. I never knew what the topping was made out of but I never would have thought pancake syrup.

It's supposed to be caramel you gettin stiffed with pancake syrup.

Italian bread slice into the toaster oven

3 fresh plum tomatoes cut up

thinly sliced fresh garlic

Last of a fresh mozzarella ball ( wet one, goats milk)

Some Romano chese

Some Basil ( dried leaves have to do tonight)

Slice of hot sopressata

put this on each slice of bread, toast em up and ready to go

I won't sleeep until opening day after eating this :

Diet Farmers Ice Tea to wash it down.

That sounds more like a full course meal instead of a snack..  Sound scrumptious though.

Being that I have been in Charleston, SC for the past 3 days, I've had my share of shrimp and grits, fried seafood, omelets, and peach tea. Good lord my stomach hurts.

That's GREAT! So does my family, however my daughter has since taken Italian in college and is presently getting ready to do the second semester of her Junior year right in Florence. She has been bustin on me to pronounce and spell things correctly, I think somehow Long Mike is her uncle! :
