Has anyone use ameritrade, etrade, or similar do it yourself stock trading sites?

If so how did you enjoy using their programs? Pros and Cons?

    I've got a tdameritrade account.  I put a couple grand in there just to fart around with.  Nothing major.  If I make a few bucks its cool if I lose it well oh well.  I do learn alot about the stockmarket through research.
