The new season starts Sunday night with two hours 8PM-10PM, then two more hours Monday night at the same time.

It has almost been too long since the last season, can't say that I'm that excited about the new season.

You haven't been watching the re-runs they have on Directv??? He!! I pretty much watched all of last's seasons in reruns so far. ;D

I thought the preseason show to set this season up was descent.  I am with you and can't say I am too excited about this season, but ya never know.  It has always been entertaining in the past. ;)

I watched about half of it earlier tonight.  Pretty lame, even for Jack the Magnificent.

I've got every season on DVD, no need to rewatch as I've seen every season at least twice.

I hardly get to watch that much consistent primetime TV so I haven't caught that many episodes of this program.

On a related note, I just got done watching 'Mirrors' with Keifer Sutherland. Didn't really care for it but if you like horror, it did have some pretty gruesome parts.

Oh man!!!  IMO the first 4 seasons were about the most entertaining TV show I had ever watched.  My roommate in college was hooked on the show from the beginning so I was somewhat familiar with it, but I never got into it.  Over winter break one year I got bored and ran out of things I wanted to rent through Netflix so I decided to rent the first few episodes of the first season.  Well that turned into an obsession.  It's a good thing I didn't have anything to do that week and a half.  I was worthless.  I watched the first 4 seasons in about a week and a half.

So I would highly recommend catching up, but be warned you could get hooked.  Also, it's not really a show you could start watching now because the newer seasons will always reference back to previous seasons.  And from the previews, this season will be no different.

Oh but the second half is the half that sets up this season ....

tick, tock, tick, tock, tick, tock ....... ;D

I watched the first seasons by renting the DVDs from Blockbuster. Bad idea. There's really no way you can get yourself not to pop in the next episode until you're done with the whole series, even if it's 4 in the morning and you have work the next day.

On a side note, I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that Jack Bauer would emerge victorious from a fight with Chuck Norris.

What was bad for me was I had a subscription to Netflix so I had one disc coming in every other day or so. That was not good enough. I HAD to go to Blockbuster to rent the next one. Even though that particular disc might have been on it's way from Netflix. ::)

Really? Thats a big limb considering Jack Bauer wears Chuck Norris pajammas. :D

Chuck Norris likes his ice the way he likes his skulls: crushed!

Not sure what show you mean, bur darn...that is one SWEET  screen name  " Burley Farva"...dude that is Awesome!!!!!

I feel like chugging some syrup!

Just set the DVR so I dont miss any episodes.  I cannot wait to start the season as not having last season on was a downer to my winter.
