Co-worker and I decided to lift weights earlier tonight.  We've got a small bench in the shop.

Balls bigger than our brains, overdid it, now my d**n back is killing me.  I feel like Jimzee hobbling around like a friggin hunchback.

It's ok Burley.  We all do stupid things in our lives, such as trying to exercise.  The good thing is, you now realize the dangers of doing stupid. immature, irresponsible things.  Now go get yourself some pop-tarts and relax.

Chiropractor finally got me straightened out.  Go easy on the weights, don't want you impressing all the women in bikinis when you come up this summer.

I prefer thongs.

I don't know.  Don't they ride up on you after a while?

What's that old saying about people who hang out together having some kind of psychic connection.  I was thinkin last night about us talking about going to the fieldhouse and lifting and when we were gonna get started.

Easy Hercules,...you gotta start slow!

Lifting weights brings up a bit of news.  I took on a new sponsor this yr, Cytosport, the makers of Muscle Milk.  If you're going to keep at it, they make a Muscle Milk "light" for folks like you.  It has "recovery" agents in it that help the muscles heal.  I'm using the opposite stuff right now, "Cytogainer".  I've added 22 lbs since the last video,...no more "Eat a hamburger" comments from you! lol.

Seriously though, if you want some samples, let me know

FWIW, My mom works at a pain doctor and the majority of their business has to do with back pain.  Last summer I did something to my back while trying to move a rock ... I mean boulder.  They gave me some great tips.  They told me heat is the absolute worst thing to put on.  They told me to put as much ice on at as possible.  I did 30 minutes on, 30 minutes off as often as I could.  With in a couple days I had significant improvements.

LBH, I'm interested. I also like to know your meal plan and exercised routine.

I want put together a better diet plan and exercise. I got a helluva mountain bike and some great riding place.

P.S. I'm not asking for freebies, I was interested in company product your talking about. I have never tried any of that protein shakes and muscle recovery shakes.

At first I thought you were talking to me, but it had to be smackmouth you were talking to.  I have plenty of experience in the gym over a 15 year period of playing and coaching football.  Now the past 5-6 years I have dropped off the deep end and let my body go to pot but now I need to get back at it.  I wouldn't mind trying some of those products you were talking about though.  I used to use MetRx and EAS and liked them and had good results with them.
