Never give an ultra-bored person a set of calipers.

Darn photobucket isn't working again but my measured exactly 1 inch.  I can't believe you actually got me up out of my chair to go outside to retrieve my wallet from my truck and then into the garage to measure it.

Way to go Costanza.

The sad thing is that I've been there.

Geez, I padded mine with toilet paper and the best I could get was 5/8".

About 1.25".  It used to be thicker before I retired.  The only reason it's 1.25 now is because I still carry a coin.

Left me guess, a Eisenhower  dollar?

A unit coin.  In the USAF, it's custom to carry a unit, command, or some type of coin.  It was mainly important if you were at some type of off-duty function.

If you were out with folks, and someone in your group did a coin check, if you didn't have one, you bought a round.  If you were clumsy enough to drop your coin on the floor, you were supposed to buy a round for everyone in the bar.  You should have seen all the heads whip around when a coin hit the floor in the club.

Anyway, most senior NCOs and officers tend to carry one at all times, and I haven't gotten out of the habit.

Dont have something to measure it right now, but thick enough where I take it out of my pocket when I sit dow b/c it's uncomfortable.

Too bad there isnt a single dollar in the thing, just plastic and some cards that say "Good for two songs"   ;)

Quite possibly one of the funniest posts...

I'd say 1.50" and growing everyday, too many receipts and points cards. Is it just me or are we having to get cards for every business we go to now?

Do you have a point card for our store yet?? X off :(

As thick as my wife lets it be. On a good day about 1 inch, she has all the credit cards I use only what is needed. If I was not married I would not have to work.

In the left back pocket we have a wallet coming in at 1 1/4" and in the right back pocket we have a can of Red Seal coming in at 1" on the button.

Don't worry, it's only a 6" caliper.
