Painting my guitar

Featured Replies

With the water frozen up here I find myself with time on my hands. I decided to paint my acoustic just to help cure some of the cabin fever.

And here's a skull I painted on one of my electrics

Nice work! Did the paint job on the acoustic change it's tonal qualities?

First one has a Picasso thing going on.  Really dig the skull design.

Nice skull on your electric.

I was wondering the same about the acoustic...did it change the tone or resonance?

Thanks guys.

I don't know if the tone has changed yet, I haven't had a chance to restring it and play it. I'm not to worried though it was a pretty cheap acoustic. I'll let you guys know once I get around to playing it again.
