If you need help, just ask

Everyone, listen up. This is a place to get the help you need. I bought a Revo reel for 35.00 last week on this site that was supposely grinding and would not work. The side plate had been removed and gone into. It was a 10 minute fix( Bushings had been miss matched) and this reel works perfectly. We could have fixed the problem easily. I feel like I robbed the guy. I did offer it back to him(Three times), but he refused. If you have a problem ask for help. Don't just discard an item if there is a problem. Someone here will always have the answers.

Networking is a big issue now and Long Mike and I have both gone through this issue the last two weeks. Pezjunkie is in the middle of it now and asked for help and he is getting it. So don't be afraid to ask any question as someone here has been through it.

I'll get off my soapbox now, just hate to see hard earned money go to waste.

Thanks, fishfordollars.  We all need the reminder.  This is the place to go for information.

No, you have a point, if you think you hit a dead end with something, throw it at the board, can't hurt and we have folks from all walks of life here with all kinds of different talents and training who might be able to help.

Can't hurt.

My truck is riding a little rough; can you come tune it up?!!

j/k; there are those that ask for help and there are those that wander about aimlessly and buy new stuff.

Actually there is a lot of help going back and forth around here.

You made a very generous offer, most folks would not.

We need more like you. I would not have taken it back either, your honesty needed rewarded.

This is what I like about this forum.

It's been a while since this was posted, someone wanted to know about battery powered drills. There were a number of replies, all good. This subject needs to be brought up every now and then. There is a world of knowledge between all of us and not just about fishing. All kinds of help just a keyboard away ;)...
