How long does it take to fix computer stupid?

I had my oil changed several months ago at Jiffy-Lube. JL was in the process of changing to an outside billing company, so when the billing company finally got is shirt together they decided I was late on my payment and charged me a $0.72 late fee. I called their 1-800 number and explained that the problem was with their failure to enter my payment in a timely manner. I also said that I would no longer be dealing with Jiffy Lube because of the failure of this billing company to maintain accurate records. The customer rep agreed with me and informed me that the $0.72 would be credited immediately. I have since received four bills, one month apart, for $0.72. This company has already spent more on postage than the computer thinks I owe them. I do believe I'll just sit back and watch how much more money on postage will be spent for the sake of the $072 that I do not owe them. ::)

Longer than the rest of your life Medium Mike. :D

Be careful. These jugheads may sooner or later trash you credit rating. Give Jiffy Lube corporate a call and tear them a new one.

Mention to them that while you would prefer not to, you are going to be consulting an attorney and consider recovering damages from any harm to your credit rating, and the emotional stress you are receiving.

Last time I had a company do something like this I turned them over to the AG in NC. They are demanding payment for something they are not entitled to. In that case, once the AG contacted them, they fixed the glitch pretty quick.

It is Jiffy Lubes vendor so it is Jiffy Lubes problem.

Pay them 72 cents in pennies. Better yet, cut all the pennies in half first.

Mike, write them a check, send it to them with some  postage due. See if they can figure that one out.

If your good at math, try something like this.....

That picture always cracks me up.

I would almost give anything to have been there when Verizon got that check.

It never gets old.... The "What now B!$ches" makes it soooo much funnier.   ;D

The spider pic was the best. I laughed so hard. Especially when he realized that the spider had seven legs.

That Verizon check is AWESOME!!

I think Roman numerals would be enough to mess up those morons!!

Enjoy!  :D

I had a similar deal.

Apparently, I had a 1.50 late charge at the Blockbuster in San Angelo and I received a letter (sent to Lubbock, 200 miles north) asking if the late fee was the reason I don't rent there anymore. Could it be that I now live 200 miles away?!? Jarkarses.

Some people...  ::)

What gets me is when the health insurance company sends the "Was it work-related?" survey forms to my 10 year old daughter.

Yeah, she slipped while working in the sweat shop. . . here's your sign!!  ::)
