Moderators 9-5 jobs...?
I beleive they have other jobs but really don't need them. The pure joy of dealing with the Mooks on this site is all they need to sustain life. Actually I've heard a rumor that Glenn treats them so well that they have had to engage Roadwarrior as a personal investment advisor and are hoping the new pay czar doesn't start investigating them

Your most unusual catch...and what bait did you catch it on?
Was crankin Saturday on Old Hickory Lake using a Strike King series 5 Sexy Shad....hooked into something, didn't put up much of a fight. Was surprised to land an unopened can of Bush beer. Hooked it on the upper lip. It was rusted out so the contents was compromised, I decided to release it to the recycling bin.

line dressing
I use the KVD as well as my fishing buddy. We both swear by it. Helps casting and makes line more manageable.

Steez reels
I have one and really like it, very nice reel in every way. Being the shimano guy you are I think you will eventually feel about it as I do mine (and I like Daiwa as well as Shimano). The truth of the matter is my favorite reels are my Daiwa TDZ's and Shimano MG50's. Unfortunately they don't make those any more. I don't think you will be at all disappointed but you will eventually like other reels as well, Now if you want that showpiece I have mine matched with a Loomis GLX MBR 843c. It is so nice it is sick but has a price tag to match. JMHO

Would you buy a Chrysler or GM product
Please let's not get political with this. I'm just curious if folks would buy a new Chrysler or GM (if they do go into bankruptcy) car. If so would it have to be alot cheaper or what would they have to do to get you to buy.....for example a Ram or Silverado over an F-150

4th Annual BassResource.com Roadtrip!!!
Just a suggestion if the wind is still brutal tomorrow....try Barkley, either go a bit south and put in at Linton or just go over to Lake Barkley State Resort Park and put in at their ramp. That is Little River and off the main lake. Both these areas are better protected from the wind and I've caught some nice uns there. If any doubts about directions just check with Chris. Tight Lines all....hope the wind dies down and the fishin picks up!!!

Drinking and fishing ???
I drink socially and responsibly. I fish for fun and it is my hobby. I don't see how these activities would be enhanced by the other. A time and place for everything. These should be done in different times and places.

College Bound
Very cool Hookem, you've worked hard and are very deserving. I have no doubt you will do well whatever you pursue. Enjoy the journey.

I voted for the TD Z on your list but like my Cronarch MG equally as well but it wasn't on the list.

2009 The Pennants are flying and the Trash is almost in view!
Sometimes it takes a long time for the whole truth to come out. This is an interesting read for baseball buffs. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2009/magazine/03/03/forever.blue/index.html As many of you know I am a Yankee fan (although I have given up on MLB until Selig and Fehr are gone). My Dad was a Giant fan and had the Dodgers and Giants not left I probably would have been a Giant fan instead of the Yankees. Heck, the Mets wouldn't even exist and Muddy would be a happy Dodger fan. When they left Dad turned his allegiance to the only NY team and those were the games he took me to when I was a kid. I guess this goes to show that politics and pro sports were really not that much different back then.
