I would hire Al Michaels and John Madden to do Monday Night Football (and let them stay on NBC for Sunday Night Football too). They need to get rid of Kornheiser, if I couldn't get Michaels and Madden, Kornheiser would definetly go and I'd leave Jaws and Turico there by themselves. I would buy clown suits for Lee Corso and Lou Holtz, I like them both but they are more like sports comedians to me. Mike & Mike would get a prime time slot to break up the Sportscenter overload. We'd need a daily prime time fishing show....how about Ike and Ish in the Evening? Thats a start, any other ideas??

Every time I go into a tackle shop I find some more plastics I can't live without. I could probably go ten years before I use up what I have but I still keep buying new bags. Whats that all about?? :o

I had a blast with the shads last year....nuff said. The chunks are the bomb and I just got some anacondas and can't wait to give them a whirl.

I use an Avid 7' MHF for worms, carolina rigs and jigs and think you would be very pleased. I would also consider a Powell 704 for these applications (I think they run a bit cheaper than the Avid), I have one of these and like it as much as the Avid. Tackle Warehouse is the best place for mail order IMHO. For crankbaits it's hard to beat a BPS crankin stick especially on sale.

I like the Crankin Sticks alot! Caught my personal best (7 lbs) with one. I match them up with a David Fritts cranking reel. Can't beat this combo for cranking IMHO

Truthfully I realize there is cheating in all of it. As far as the minors go, when one of those guys get caught they nail them to the wall so baseball looks like they are doing something. All they are doing is sacrificing the little guy in a transparent attempt to polish their image. It's a huge Selig sham....he is the guy I'm really frustrated with. He is right about A-Rod but where was he with the others. Just covering it up to make his sorry butt look like he's innocent. His statements today made me want to puke just because he is so full of POOP. Maybe when he's gone I'll come back. As an aside I gave up the NHL after their strike and the NFL is about to push me over the edge. I am almost ready to sell my PSL's to the Titans. I never have watched the NBA or NASCAR. The college game is not perfect but it's where I'd rather spend my time and money these days. Vanderbilt has a great baseball program that is fun to watch....David Price played there only a couple years ago. That's probably the place to watch baseball for me.

Selig comes out today and says A-Rod shamed the game like he's holier than thou. I'm not defending A-Rod....but he and apparently hundreds of other players right along with Selig and Fehr (who just buried their heads in the sand all the way to the bank) shamed the game as much as anybody. I don't care if the Yankees, Red Sox, Mets, Cardinals or even the Cubs win diddly squat.....I'm done with this bunch of cheats and hippocrits. As much as I love the game and the NY Yankees they can now all go to where the sun don't shine. I'll just look forward to watching the Nashville Sounds (AAA minor league). I fish Percy Priest in Nashville....#5 in crawdad color are killer in early spring around rocky shoreline. I use spinning gear due to the light weight of this size. A couple years ago an older fellow won big fish at a benefit tournament with one...a nice 9 pounder which is really big on this lake.
