Quick Help ( Virus )

Featured Replies

I've got Antiviruse 360 installed itself on my pc and I can't get rid of it. Anybody know of it and what I need to do. It tries to block every where I go and Warning me that this site isn't safe. HELP

Malwarebytes is an amazing program I use it all the time at work. It will quickly take that virus away.

Thanks guys that took care of it for $29.95 Now I wonder why Trend Micro didn't catch it? I also have Ad - Ware and it didn't do a good job either. A friend sent me a e-mail with so boobs on it and that's where it came from. I just blocked his ass from sending me e-mails. In fact I might just send him a bill for 29.95

i had this a while back, in combination with malwarebytes free version and a few other free programs, i got rid of it.  it was a royal pain in the arse, but it worked.

That's why I love this site.  If you've got a problem, someone has a fix for it, or at least can point you in the right direction.

It was a pick your Wal-Mart greeter ;D You want me to send it to you? It was beautiful and only cost 29.95. I have paid 4.95 a minute. ;D

Malwarebytes should have been free. Where did you go that you had to pay for the software?

At the site daviscw posted. I thought it was free also until I tryed to get rid of the 360 virus. It then directed me to the page where you had to pay. It did what Trend Micro and Ad-Ware couldn't. Trend Micro is 70.00 bucks a year. ::)

Wow that is weird. I have used this program in the past 6 months probably 10x to get rid of virus' on employee's computers at work as well as side work that I do and I have never had to pay anything to get it to remove the virus...maybe it is something new.

I don't know how you managed to do that Frogtog.  ;D All you had to do was click the green download button on the homepage.

Here it shows the free one and one you can buy. Anyway, I'm glad it worked for you. Sorry if I wasn't clear enough.

Is that why my e-mails haven't been going through? ;D

Actually I remember malwarebytes having a pay version that actively monitors your computer for spyware/viruses while the free version you have to scan youself.

That's usually the case with free antiviruses. They give you the scanner but not the full-time protection. In any case, I would recommend (as I have before) to BUY a program that does both. If you are smart and careful on the internet, a free AV program will be all the protection you need, but if you want the best protection or engage in risky internet activity (downloading music, movies, programs, XXX sites, etc...) you may want to buy a program. Some of the top rated programs are PC-Cillin (although I found it to use a lot of system resources), NOD32, Kaspersky, and BitDefender. Also a new program that has been highly rated is Vipre. If you really want or need the best protection, you should buy a program, specifically one of the highly rated programs. Free AV programs are ok but they pretty much NEVER have as good detection or protection ratings as bought programs.
