Toss it through his front window. Then ask questions later.

Dispose of it or put it up for sale yourself, and when you get back strike up a conversation with him about the T.V. and say that you found it strange that it was on your property so you sold it and made some $$$. That should get him to fess up if he did it or not and if he did then you know your have a rotten neighbor next time an issue comes up.

ALERT!

PASSIVE-AGRESSIVE BEHAVIOR.

INDIVIDUAL HAS MENTAL PROBLEMS.

AVOID HIM AT ALL COSTS.

HE COULD CAUSE GIRLFRIEND TROUBLE.

If he does it again, call the cops.

I agree with some - put it in the garage, worry about it when you get home and be polite if you ever confront him about it. Odds are he knows your gf is living in the house alone for a time. It's not worth potentially turning it into a situation while you're overseas.

im not positive it was the neighbor but who else would move the tv across the street?

kids probably...

My 1st thought even before the question was asked.

You know, the more I think about this and what Sam said, I'd have some friends come over and remove the TV all together.  If the guys a creep, he may have set the thing out there as some kind of bait (to watch her come out to the curb or whatever).  If she moves it into the garage, he might have an excuse to come over to your house.  There's also the option of doing nothing about it until you return. A move either way might prod him into lurking across the street.

Do something fun with the TV, finders keepers ;)

Id throw it from a decent height or roll it down a steep slope :D

If you really want to be cool pour about 1lb of black powder in it and blow the dern thing up in the middle of the street!

Seriously though, just get your girlfriend to call special pickup or get some friends to take it to the dump.

Be thankful you don't live next door to drug dealers and whores.   >:(
