Just saw a trailer for the remake of "Alice in Wonderland" by Tim Burton and Johnny Depp. Looks like it's gonna be GREAT! Things are always good when they get together...

Good actor, but ever since I watched Edward Scissor Hands, he just creeps me out sometimes.  He definately fits the part of most kookie characters.

lol indeed the only actor who creeps me out more is Steve Buscemi and my favorite actor Robert Knepper!

I'm really looking forward to this one.  Tim Burton is really the only one who I think could do justice to the literary acid trip that is "Alice in Wonderland."

 Liked all the ones I have seen. Even if you don't like one of his movies, you NEVER forget a character he portrays...

while closer to the book, I didn't care for it at all. Probably would have been great had it been an original but seriously, noone can compare to gene wilder, simply amazing. As for Alice In Wonderland, looks fantastic, can't wait to see it. I just showed my wife the trailer this weekend. Depp looks like a scary woman though.

Two great points. Gene Wilder was awesome in the original. Secondly, Johnny Depp is just weird. Ever since Edward Scissorhands it is strange to see him in pale makeup (including his Willy Wonka character) and I absolutely hated his character in all the Pirates of the Carribean movies.

I hated all the hand twirling and weird speaking. It looked and sounded like his jaw was wired shut. Too Keith Richards-ey for my likings.

I feel like if he is freaking you out he is doing his job. I love watching him. He's funny as hell.
