Stupid! Stupid! Stupid!

Featured Replies

I get the stupid award for the day.  I was out this past weekend fishing and when I returned home and cleaned the boat out I always lean my poles against the house and take them in a couple at a time.  Well, I took my tackle in first and then 3 combos I had with me and left 2 of them leaning against the house.  I just went in to respool a reel and saw the two missing from the rod holders and remembered leaving them there.  Needless to say when I went out to look for them they are missing!  Someone must have made off with such an easy target!   :-[  Someone has a nice Fleuger and a BPS baitcasting combos in their possession now.  I hate thieves but I blame myself for this one also.  Sorry scoundrels better hope I don't catch them around the house again!

Ouch! :(

I do the same thing,I just remember to bring them all in though.

Might want to start checking the Garbage around the area in a few weeks...if the person who took them knows nothing about baitcasters, they going to get a big surprise on their first cast. ;D

man that sucks!!!!

id be mighty  >:( as well!!!

its not all your fault though.......

if people were decent enough, things like this would never happen.....

but lots of people aren't, sadly.

i hope you see the culprit with them (i know i would).....

May they fall in the lake and drown.  :)

its not all your fault though.......

I disagree.

Finding yourself even partly to blame for some ahole stealing stuff off of your property is wrong.

I hope they hook a 25 lb bass with it and lose it.

maybe i worded this slightly wrong, but my whole statement was...

as in, if people acted and behaved as decent members of society.... then you wouldn't have to worry about things like this....

unfortunately, all do not......

but do i feel its his fault for leaving the stuff out...

absolutely not.

You were looking for an excuse to buy some real equipment anyway.    ;)

You have no idea how right you are. It was just a matter of days before I put the Fleuger on here for a trade for a Quantum.  The BPS reel was going to be sold to help pay for another spinning combo also.

You'll be glad you switched to a Quantum.

     ;)

BTW, sorry to hear that about you combo's getting stolen.

     :(

that sucks. :(

i have had similar experiences and i always tell myself , the thieves or whoever will get what is coming to them one way or another.

1.  I'm very sorry for your loss.  I like the way the Arabs handle theft.  If you get caught stealing, they cut off your hand.

2. It's Pflueger, not Flueger.  If your BPS reel is an Extreme bait caster, it's also a Pflueger.  It's an almost exact copy of the President reel.

3.  For you naysayers, Pflueger reels, and by association, the BPS Extremes, are some of the finest reels you can buy for the money.  Also for you naysayers, I have the following wish:  May your hair be invested with lice; may your armpits be infested with fleas; may your crotch be infested with crabs; may your ankles be infested with chiggers.  I mean this in the nicest possible way.   :P

I thought it was Flooger or Foolger.   ;)

I thought they were decent enough reels.  I just didn't like the feel of them.  I've been using Quantums for years and I just like the feel of them.
