One of our daughters will be having our first grandchild in late Feb.

It is not one of those fairy tail scenarios but we will make it work.

Our daughter had been healthy for a year ( the first in nearly 4 years); unfortunately the pregnancy has returned her illness and with a major vengeance. She has been hospitalized for now the 4th time since mid July. Each seems to be 1 week thus 4 weeks since mid July. This creates a nearly certain near future chain of events that will be very trying. We will figure it out some way some how.

Congrats gramps!

I had my first when I was 18, and definately wasn't a fairy tale story. She's 4 now and everything has worked out with a lot kinks. With a good heart and enough will and passion, things usually work out.

Hope mom and baby are both as healthy as can be!
