Big 12 Tonight: Nebraska at Missouri

So, how good are the Tigers without Chase Daniels?

They weren't good with him. That being said,  I don't think they will score more than 14 points on the huskers tonight.  Husker D has given up the fewest points in the nation thus far this year.  Husker offense still needs to get rolling.  I predict a husker victory...the score may not show it but, the skers will dominate......How's that for a biased opinion? :D

THe big 12 North has a chance to make a statement this year.

Kansas, Neb., and Missery each have 4 ranked teams to play.

Go Mizzou,

A battle of no consequence for the ages!

I'll probably end up watching the game but the truth is it probably won't matter for the Big 12. The North had a chance at showing it's relevance when Missouri and Chase Daniel were so highly ranked two years ago. Now Missouri isn't in the picture anymore and neither is the rest of the north. Are either of those teams really capable of beating Texas or even Oklahoma? Oklahoma State?

Big XII North is better than you think, and they are a big win away from making noise.

As for Kansas, they have veteran QB, Todd Riesens, who a few years ago, beat VT in the Orange Bowl and was 12-1 for the year, and his wideout is still with him.   They also beat Texas the last time we played them in Kansas with the pass.   Last year 8-5, Todd has big game experience and this is college football,  anything is possible.

Mizzou has proven there has been no hanger over from losing Chase Daniels, Jeremey Maclin, and his TE Chase Coffman from last years team to the NFL.    Tigers won 10 last year and 12 the year before that.   Back to back bowl wins.

These teams have quality wins the past few years and are better than most think.  Texas should worry.

Go Big XII North.

I'll be interested to see how any of them do in their bowl games. None of them have played any difficult non-conference games with the exception of Nebraska at VT.

And you are still going to church and thanking god for that victory.  VT is lucky that Zach Lee can't complete a 6 yard pass.

Geez...

I went to bed before Nebraska got on the board.

Congrats Cornhusker fans! That must have been

one heck of a 4th quarter for your guys.

Thanks RW...  It was the Nebraska Defense put them in scoring position twice and turned it around for them.  I just wish they could get that offense going.

Went to bed with 1:47 to go in the 3rd.

WOW

One of the best defenses against primary passing teams that run the spread is wet weather.

I'd say VT was blessed as well, it was monsoon rain in that game and the Mizzou game looked no different.

I completely agree with you guys about the VT game. I even said right afterwards that Nebraska deserved to win. I'm still not convinced that I would even be all that impressed if Nebraska had won. I do not believe VT is nearly as good as their ranking, but they are probably the best non conference opponent that those teams have played so far.

Agreed.
