Night Fishing Lures

Featured Replies

What are your favorites?

Well for me I like a big colorado bladed spinner bait, it must be black. I also like a black and chartrues top dog. And a black and bone jitter stick. Huge black knuckle head poppers are great.

Good Luck,

Peter E.

I like 10 in dark colored worms. I prefer black but anything dark will work. Also black buzzbaits and big colorado blade spinnerbaits.

X2. Couldn't of said it better myself. I like buzzbaits at night as well.

Jitterbugs are nice 'cause you can cast them, let them sit as you sip on whatever it is you're drinking, and then work it a little, take a sip, etc.   ;)

My top producing night lures for both quantity & quality are Texas Rigs & Jigs

Gene Larew 7 ½ Salty Ring Worm in the following colors:

Cinnamon Pepper Neon/June Bug Laminated (Camouflage)

Junebug/Blue Tail

Black Blue Tail

Ring Rascal 7 ½ Ring Worm Starry Night; it is dark smoke on top, clear smoke on the bottom with lots of silver glitter in the clear.

Gene Larew Salty Hawg Craws 6 Black Neon Laminated & Junebug/Blue Craw

Oldham's Lures Trailer Hitch Jig, 3/8 oz Black/Blue, Gene Larew Salty Hawg Craws in 6 with 2 ½ cut off the tail

Big black jitterbug has done well for me

Dark big curl tail Worm, Dark Jig and action packed trailer, Black Spinnerbait w/#5 Colorado, Dark color Buzz or Rage Shad for more weedless application.

Big O

C Rigged 10 inch worm

T-Rigged 7.5inch worm

Jig with rage craw

Rage shad

Double buzz bait

Shallow diving crankbait

Colorado bladed spinnerbait

Same baits and patterns that I use during the day.

If I had to pick a fav it would be this guy.  Full size.
