I have had so many problems with my motorguide t motor that its time to get rid of it. What would be a really good trolling motor, im willing to pay extra for a good one but nothing too expensive. Im looking at the Minnkotas but there are so many I cant decide. BTW I need one you control with the foot pedal.

I just bought my Shimano Crucial rod a couple weeks ago and it seems like one of the guides might be damaged. When I reel my lure in it makes a weird noise like its rubbing up against the line. Is there anything I can do to fix this? Its not causing the line to fray but it just kind of worries me. Thanks

I just bought mine and put it on a Shimano Crucial for jig fishing. The reel is just so smooth and it casts for ever.

What is the split grip for on a rod? Does it just give you a better feel?
