I just bought my new revo stx. Im trying to figure out how to adjust my brakes. Im probably doing something wrong, but when i open up the side plate there are no brakes. All thats there is the gold spool. What could I be doing wrong?

Heading out to cabelas here in about a half hour. Im going to check out the Crucial and the Carrot Stix rod for my worms and jigs. Which do you think I should get? Its for my new Revo by the way.

I like 10 in dark colored worms. I prefer black but anything dark will work. Also black buzzbaits and big colorado blade spinnerbaits.

Well this year my goal has been to learn how to fish deep water and find suspended fish as you said. What would be a decent set up for the $200 range? Thanks

For the rod I would get a 6'6" MH. That will be good for all around fishing. Its not the number one choice for cranks but it will do fine. For the reel i would just handle both and see which feels best. Im not very familiar with the pflueger reels but id just go with the what feels best. There are a ton of rods out there better than the ugly stik if your willing to spend more. If you are just give us your price range and we can pick something good for you.

I just bought a Tracker 175txw and the depth finder it came with is a Lowrance X37. Do you think it is worth the money to upgrade to a better one. They dont even sell the X37 and it just seems like its not very good. Should i uprade? If so could you give me some ideas for a good one thats a reasonable price.

I would definitely go with the BPS Extreme Rod/Reel combo. Its what I started with a couple years ago and I still use it a lot. Its a great combo for the price. $100

I think your set up sounds great. I wouldnt spend the extra money id just stay with those curados and chronarchs.

When its overcast/rainy i tend to get more strikes with a brighter colored bait. (Firetiger, chartreuse, etc.)

I tried them. I liked them but ive never used any other hooks for d shot.

Does the regular Hybrid float?

I have both the regular Hybrid and the Hybrid Ultra Soft. What are the differences between the two? Which do you like better? Thanks

I bought some of the KVD Line and Lure to put on my Yozuri US and so far I think it helps a lot with memory.

Could someone please post a pic of how they rig these. I cant seem to get it to run right in the water. I must be rigging it wrong. Thanks
