That was (and may still be) a big sore spot for lbh and other members here. Lbh was doing it help a kids fishing program (or something similar) and if I remember correctly, the shows producer wouldn't even talk to lbh.

I think your right. LBH did everything but slap him with a glove, but they weren't interested. I think Charlie was afraid of being schooled on his own show. :

That probably was before I started here, I don't remember reading anything about it.  That sucks though.

Yea it was pretty crappy what they did to LBH. He was trying to do good for kids and it was Charlie's chance to look like a nice guy and not look like a ____________. The man has truely become a complete tool since getting is show on ESPN. The show on NESN isn't the challenge though it is just him fishing.

I challenged him as well, go an email, responded to it, then never heard anything else. I have had my revenge though...finished higher than him in the Ocean State Open and other t's Webster, and Champlain. So I have beat Charlie Moore...hehehe  8-)

Man, that's even worse.  At least on the challenge you get a little break, and get to listen to a normal Joe.  I didn't realise that idiot had an entire half-hour to himself. 

I can't last through a 1/2 hour show on ESPN, let alone a whole evening with that jerk.

I didnt' realize he had 2 different shows  .  I wonder if I have NESN on my digital package, we have a bunch of sports channels I don't watch....what am I saying  :-X

I have met him and I have fished with him and he is a decent guy. Yes, he is over the top but thats him. I dont think anyone really watches it for the fishing information, although there is some there. In my estimation I think its more the entertainment. I might be dating myself but does anyone remember that brief stint of a show that Fish Fishbourne had? I didnt watch that show for the information but the entertainment value. They are/were both funny, like a train wreck you dont want to watch but cant help yourself. Not really going to comment on the LBH challenge because it has been dragged out to death.

Charlie is a personal friend. I have spent enough time with Charlie and his family that I would be remise if I did not submit a comment on this thread. As llPa1nll stated he is a decent guy. I have found him to be extremely loyal to his friends and employes. He is a wild man and does not take himself serious. He has said many times that the ESPN show is just about 2 guys  having fun on the water. There is no setup or scripts, just whatever happens happens. BTW  he's not acting, thats just how is....crazy. I was not around when whatever happened here happened, and that sounded like a great cause..... but Charlie gets thousands of challenges. I know he can't fish with everybody or make everybody happy. For those who like the BCM show, there will be a new season of his show in the new year.
