Ice cold sweet tea is usually my beverage of choice, but I decided to try tea hot, and I've came to like it.

Any recommendation?

We have a tea shop called Teavana here in northern va. I have always been a hot tea drinker especially a nice Earl Grey. This place has some absolutly amazing teas!!  I usually go thru a couple of ounces in a 3 week period. Equals out to about 3 cups a day. I feel better after a nice cup of cha!!

I have a box of Earl Grey right now. It not too bad. My friend told me to tried Tazo. The same friend gave me a "sleeping" tea last night, and I slept pretty good, I felt more relax going to bed and it helped me shut my mind off. It had a spearmint after taste to it.

See if you can find a place that sells loose teas (not tea bags) and a nice tea pot. I think you will find those to be better quality teas. A place like that should be able to show you how to properly store your tea for optimum flavor and freshness.

I searched Teavana and they have a website that I can order from.

green tea and earl grey are all you really need. no sugar. and i agree on the loose leaf logic, much more quality in it.

Root, check out masala chai, aruvedic(sp), toasted nut brule. Those are big in my rotation right now.

My suggestion is to stick with either one of these styles:

Long Island

Long Beach

Equally refreshing......

Nothing like sweetouchnee tea, robust with lots of flavor. Old timers drink it from a glass with a cube of sugar between their teeth....eastern European fare.  Most teas are terrible weak, I'll take Jamaican Blue Mountain.

I'm not sure if this is in the same category as what you're talking about, but my mom and grandma make something called Russian Tea and it's delicious. It's made with Tang and some tea and other stuff. haha

Are they really as good as the review says they are? I saw the advertisement in Jamaica when I was down there, but I have yet to buy one. I almost got my dad a box set for Christmas from their website, but still haven't quite pulled trigger. lol.

Is there a place you can buy them in the state to avoid possible huge shipping charge?

If the tea is anything like the coffee I would HIGHLY recommend it.

Very expensive coffee but MMMMMmmmmmm good.

Some higher end coffee/tea shops carry it from time to time.
