In the market for a concealed carry holster. I think I want one that is IWB. I know I will probably try a few out before I find one I like. I have a glock 23 I want to use with it. Hopefully it won't be too uncomfortable.

I use the clipdraw. I have one on a smith and wesson 642 and a glock 27 with a plus-one grip.

Some people won't like it because its not an actual "holster", but to each their own. It was a bit unnerving to have a gun just jammed in my pants at first, but for the minimalist it's as good as I've found.

I've worn one or the other basically everyday for the last year without issue. I don't plan on using an actual holster again after having these.

I just purchased one that was recommended to me by a couple police officer family members.

I won't get it for a couple more weeks.

My specific gun was tough to find a holster for because of the layout of the safety on it.

One thing i was told by anyone who carries a lot was not to skimp on the holster.

I have heard a lot of good things about the Crossbreed Supertuck.  It's not pretty but it is very effective seems to be the consensus.  I know when I finally get my G23 i will probably get a Supertuck to go with it.

Check out Simply Rugged as well.  I am about to get one of theirs for my SP101.  They make some for Autoloaders as well.

Also, look into a quality gun belt.  I have heard it makes a huge difference in both comfort and concealment.

I've never really used an IWB holster in the waistband. I have an Uncle Mikes IWB holster for my CZ83 .380 pistol, but I don't use it in the waistband. I actually use it as a pocket holster. Works great like that. If you have any sort of spare tire, like me, IWBs aren't that comfortable.

You might find that a couple of holsters will suit you best. IWB is great when you are lightly clothed. But if you wear anything with some length, like long polo shirts untucked, close, highride holsters do well. They are easily hidden. I am partial to Galco FLETCH holsters.

If price is no problem, Del Fatti holsters are the bomb diggity.

I use shoulder holsters. My S&W model 59 9mm in an Uncle Mike's Sidekick horizontal draw. My S&W model 629 44mag 4" barrel in a Bianchi Phantom vertical breakaway draw that I shortened for better concealment.

The FLETCH is a nice holster, but I'm not a big fan of thumbreaks. I chose the Galco Concealable instead. Rides nice and high, disappears under a t-shirt, and is extremely comfortable.
