Hello guys. Today, somebody stole alot of things from our boat. As followed:

1. Black musky reel with 6 1/2 foot rod.

1. Abu Garcia Ambasador with a unknown reel.

1. Cabelas Fish Eagle Tournament 2 with a casting rod

1. Pfluger presedent with a Gander Mountain rod.

2. Big huge 50lb tackle boxes. One green the other dark green.

1. Marine Batttery

1. Red musky tacklebox. It has a musky embroidered on it.

They aboviously knew their fishing stuff becasue they only took the good stuff.

If anyone ever has the time, and can search craigslist or ebay, and finds anything listed here, please send me an E-mail IMEDIATLY!!!

I need a link too please. He/she should be in the Minneapolis area. I need to aleart the police when I see something.

Thanks.

I do a lot of trading, buying, and selling on ebay.  I'll keep a look out, but it's a longshot.  Hopefully someone can turn up something.  That's a lot of money.  Y'all don't have lockable storage boxes or did they break into them?

Well. This guy was good. He managed to take 2 50lb tackleboxes, and a 80lb battery away without a car. I am adding all my prices together to see how much I lost. Then its off to the insurance company.

I'd take a look or two on Ebay as well.  Took a quick peak out there (craigslist & Ebay) and didn't see anythign much that fit the bill.  Hopefully your insurance company comes through quick and you can go on a shopping spree.

Best bet is the pawn shops within 25 miles of where they were stolen.

Cops already called there.

Just added everything up. Just my stuff is $750.65. I could just cry.

How'd it happen?  Shoot'em if you catch'em doing it again.  My pops did that to the guy who tried to break into our trucks...  Why did you have so much gear in your boat?

Was the boat parked on your property? Some of your neighbors may have set this heist up.

My dad has lived here for 15 years, and nothing like this has happened on our block. We were about to take our stuff out, but my dad needed the boat washed first. So he put the boat in the front yard, and I washed it. He told me to go inside because he had to run to the hobby store real quick. This person had to have been watching us. I had not herd anything. My dog will bark if anybody is in the yard, so they were good. They had started to take the trolling motor apart the night before.

They only took most of the fishing gear. They tried to take the trolling motor. Thing is, they couldnt and they left the co-pilot sitting there. Thats $160.00. They also left the electric anchor. Thats a few hundred. We went and taked to all the neighbors and they didnt see anything. I did find some foot prints behind the house though. Going looking for a lisence plate number and an address of a brown mini van today.

Ok. My dad called the insurance company and now we got a big fisherman taking the case. He needs me to try to get a list of all the lures I had. I have a big head ache right now. Could anybody take a look at this picture and tell me if you can identify any lures.

I will post pics in a second.

I can't tell from those pics, but if your insurance agent is a fisherman, maybe he'll realize those tackle boxes.

I sure hope the cops catch the SOB that stole your stuff, and I hope he dies in prison.   >:)

Like another post mentioned, check the pawn shops.

I have dealt with thieves for the last 20 years and I suspect it was not a fisherman but rather someone looking to get money quickly which is why a pawn shop is a good place to start.

Has anyone else in the neighborhood/area had similar issues?

Any friends of friends been around lately that may have known what was there?

Just a few thoughts, hope you can resolve this soon.

Sorry for the hastle.

Good luck.

Richard

Who just bought a boat in your neighborhood and check your friends house. I can't stand a thief.

That sucks.

I keep pictures and product descriptions of everything I own just in case I need to file a claim. Everyone should do this and keep it updated, filed in a safe place, as well as sending a copy to your agent so they will have it on file. This will go a long way when it is time to file a claim. Be good friends with your agent and keep them informed.

That's really bad just last night i had a nightmare that random people stole all my fishing gear.!

You must be devastated, go play some golf

Thanks for all the help guys. I am going to get pictures of all my stuff, with the product and price written down.
