Dang it! I was hoping to get him in Oakland. I'm really surprised the Eagles traded him to a division rival.

Not sure how I feel about this. I dislike Jason Campbell, but I'm unsure about how much this will benefit the team. I guess I'll just wait and see.

He and the Deadskins will stay right where they belong.  At the bottom of the NFC East.

I don't think they will finnish last again. I hope he goes into Philly and throws 7 TDs and beats the crap out of the Eagles this fall.

VA, that is what I am worried about. I don't like the idea of trading him to a division rival.

Well, I'm a skins fan so I like the idea of that. I always thought that Philly treated him wrong and was ungrateful for everything he did for that team.

I hope he has a great year. I already think the Eagles will suck.

I always say what goes around comes around and I think this will come back to haunt the Eagles. ;)

Too bad the Iggy's didn't go out when Donnie was young and put talent around him at Wide out.

Most teams that have won like the Iggy's have had some great talent at WR, something Donavan never had the luxury of until the past few drafts, except for that 18 month stretch with TO, one good WR his whole career.

Donnie has put himself at the top of the passing records with a few that most NFL QB's would be happy with owning.

No weapons in Washington, thats a good one, you've got McNabbs ability to scramble, Randal El, Moss, and Cooley at TE, and Shannahans made Portis a better back before.

Donnie sure has owned my Cowboys for the most part, I know winning 3 times last year was nice, but that didn't happen very often over the past 11 years.

Believe it or not but McNabb dictated that trade. He refused to even talk to other teams that were interested in him and would have retired if he had be traded to anyone but Washington.

You truly are a fan.  I applaud you. Never give up hope.

Randle El was released a month or two ago.  Portis career is almost done IMO.  He has just been too banged up, and has lost a step or two.  It will make Washington better though.

Probably cheaper for Deadskins to get McNabb than to draft Sam Bradford in first round.

Plus the fact that McNabb is an experience QB who can give Campbell a good run for the money for the QB position.

Cooley has also been injured. I'm not sure what he'll play like.

I think it's a great move! This will allow us to build for the next 3-4 years. He is very solid. I'm simply shocked they traded him within the division. Hint hint Sunny...maybe they learn this time

I feel like this is another kick to Campbell. I doubt he'll stay with the skins, and if he does, I don't think he'll have the motivation to succeed...

CAMPBELL IS JUST NOT GOOD ENOUGH TO PUT A TEAM ON HIS SHOULDERS AND CARRY THEM. HE HAD HIS SHOT.

As a cowboy fan I like this trade, yes I wanted him out of the division but better with the dead skins then with eagles

I don't think they brought mcnabb in to compete for the starting spot, he will be the starter. Campbell just isn't good enough.

I don't think thats a fair accessment of Jason and I'm not a deadskins fan.

How many HD coaches has he seen, or how many years has he had the same offensive coordinator?

Just like last year, didn't they take playcalling away from the HC, then hire a consultant to call plays?

I know, its easy to blame the QB over the upper managment chaos.

That are already talking extension with Mcnabb, I don't think they would be going through all of this if they didn't plan on making him the starter

Yes, probably cheaper dollar-wise, but also in draft picks since they would have had to trade up with the Rams to have a shot at Bradford. That would have cost them several high picks.

as a redskins fan, its a tough pill for me to swallow. ive hated mcnabb for so long, now i have to cheer for him on gameday. i will probably be more critical of him than past redskins QBs of late, even though he is better than them. i suppose i will support him on the field though, unless he plays horribly. campbell has permission to seek a trade, and its unlikely he will return as he and shanny agreed its best if campbell didnt even workout with the team right now.
