Bleeeh...

Featured Replies

I have to rant one minute real quick. I've been having to take Biaxin (antibiotic) for a nasty sinus infection. The good news is I am getting better. The bad is one of the side effects. A very VERY VEEERRRRYYYY horrible taste that lingers in you mouth for about 7-8 hours after you take the tablet. It's like a cross between rotten potatoes and copper. Water doesn't help, crackers are no good, and insane amount of coke is useless. -Sigh- Only 11 more days of this...  :'(

I used to find that milk helped a little with nasty tasting steroids.

what worked for me was something licorice flavored.

Sambuca, ouzo, or anisette will do the trick.

insane amount of coke is useless. (

Doing an insane amount of coke may be counterproductive!

Do the drugs also induce double posting?   :D

Yes, and the suicidal thoughts as well.  :D

Hammer... a hammer will take the bad taste out of you mouth. Just lay your index finger on something hard and whack the heck out of it with the hammer.

Bad taste in your mouth is gone like magic.

Really? I thought that would send another horrible taste, but this one to the back of your throat. It's what I hear at least. A drip is a drip is a drip... right?

What's also horrible is taking fish oil pills. Take it in the morning and your burps for the rest of the day taste like fish.
