Did you guys like the 3 day day draft?

Featured Replies

How did you guys feel about the draft starting on THursday and ending Saturday?

I thought it was going to be the greatest thing since nunchucks, but afterwards, I had to disagree. I MUCH prefer waking up early on Saturday and sitting on my assAll day long watching the entrie thing. Watching the announcers get bored, tired, and hungry.

The first round was okay, but then real life things got in the way; dinner, bath night for the kids, and then bed time. I feel like I can better kick my family out of the house for the day on a Saturday morning, and tell them not to come back til 6 pm or so.

Me? Not a fan. The Primetime Draft seemed to be a hit, though, so I am SOL.

I miss waking up on Saturday and watching the draft too but it was fun watching the first round on Thursday night and then talking about it the next day and wondering what was going to happen in the 2nd round.

I like the three day format better.

Never watched or cared about the draft.   I like to watch football, just not in April.

I never watched the draft until this year, mainly because it was more convenient this time, but also because I knew the Hawks had a shot at having some great picks.

I liked it, seemed to allow teams to work out trades better.

The change I liked best was going from 15 minutes between picks to 10, definitely a plus!

This might have been the main reason that I liked it also. It's all we talked about for three days straight.
