Bought my daughter a $150 bracelet today

Featured Replies

Her and her sister decided doing flips off the bunk bed was something they should try. I mean what could go wrong?

So after she hit her mouth on the wood bed frame, we took a trip to the ER. Luckily no stitches, just a bloody lip, some looser teeth (she is 6 and those 2 were already coming out), and a copay (they gave us a plastic bracelet with her name and DOB on it). Second, most expensive piece of jewelry I have bought this year, considering this was my 10 yr anniversary year, that is saying something.

Wait til you have to "flip" for the wedding. You're getting off cheap right now.

Kids will be kids.

Glad she is doing well.

Keep the bracelet and put it out with the photos and other items when she gets married.

Lots of fun memories it will bring back.  :)

Times have really changed, 50 years ago I spent 5 days in the hospital, total bill $0.25, for my bracelet.

Blue cross picked up the remaining tab.
