Why communication is essential.

The Federal Government and Financial Aid offices at colleges everywhere needs to communicate properly and efficiently. It's a total cluster ****!

I received a scholarship from a third party, and when I filled out my loan paper to cover my apartment it didn't mention anything about any form of scholarship affecting the amount of loan I can receive. ETSU, my scholarship, nor Federal Government told me anything. A week after I received my loan and already spent it on rent and a meal card, I get an email from ETSU saying I was "over awarded" and will have to return a certain amount of my loan that I no longer have. They said Federal Government had informed them that I couldn't receive the amount I received due to my scholarship.

ETSU said they apologized for such inconvenienced and had no way of knowing until the day they sent me the email. Are you freaking kidding me?

That's pretty gay. They told you one amount, and now they tell you a lesser amount and you have to give it back cuz of one of their messes? You couldnt help not spending that money. Bullocks.
