Fishing new pond saturday...

Featured Replies

I am fishing in a new pond and I found out that the water is greenish clear.  What color lure would work best?

Quick, change your avatar to fish NOT in the kitchen...

Here we go again   :;)

Trixo69--I have been having good luck with strike king's sexy shad. If you use worms, watermelon is my favorite to use, senko or Mag II.

I am heading near your area tomorrow to fish the beautiful Alabama, coosa, and talapoosa rivers. OH YEAH!!!!

"Greenish Clear" Clearer the water, I tend to try more natural colors, Watermelon Seed or Green Pumkin for plastics and for hard baits maybe Baby Bass or TN Shad...

The membership here has a strong bias towards "Catch & Release".

Posting bass on a stringer or in your kitchen doesn't work very well.

This is not a "rule", just a friendly suggestion.

lol thanks  ;)

Try jerkbaits the clearer the water the better they work, also you may want to try the red eye shad. The shad has been a big performer for me so far this year!!!

Good Luck!! ;)
