I've seen a few different fishing games for the Wii.  If anyone has played them, what do you think is the best one for kids and adults.

BPS The Strike is a decent game for either. Rapala Pro Fishing is probably the best Wii fishing game out at the moment. Both kind of fall short if you're looking for a REAL fishing game, as they are both kind of arcade style play, but it's better than I thought they would be.

Really? I like Pro Fishing, but I hated their first game for wii, it was terrible.

I've read good things about the 2010 version.  Is that the version you don't like?

I guess I should add, if your looking for a realistic fishing experience, I haven't found a game yet that doesn't have 'idiot' fish. Basically, in any of these games, if you get a lure in front of the fish, it's going to eat it.

I've been trying to make a realistic fishing game with the Unreal Engine for some time now, but its hard to find geeks that can work on games AND fish, so no body wants to help

Wii Fish and Tournament Fishing by rapala both totally sucked.

If they came out with a new version this year (2010) then I have an older version.  I was still very disappointed in the game and, due to the cost of Wii games, I am unlikely to give the new version a go.

I have the Sega Bass Fishing game for the Wii.  I didn't care for it much but my nephew sure does love it!  He beat my record with a 20+ pounder!!  I got it at the grocery store for $20 I think it was.

The Strike (BPS) has been sitting in the box on the shelf for a while now.  I don't like it that much.

The bass pro game is to easy, you pretty much goto the back of any creek and you can win every tournament in the game.  One of the tournaments for largemouth i got a 92lb bag lol.5 fish limit of course.

hahahahah no kidding!!!

The BPS The Strike for Wii helped get me through the winter but like others have said it's not very realistic. Drive around until you see a fish on the depthfinder and start casting. I was excited to see some lakes that I've fished on the game like Table Rock. Then I played it and caught a fish that would beat Missouri's decades old state record largemouth by 4 or 5 lbs. So not that realistic on the size fish you are catching or the difficultly in finding them.

All the fishen games suck, we need a game as real asreal can get!

There has to be back lash & hang ups, then a trolling motor that is affected by the currents and wind.
