Teavana Tea leaves??

Featured Replies

I went into the store the other day and I did like the samples they had a display. I ended up buying my wife a gift set from there that comes with the perfect tea maker, 4 different flavors of tea leaves, natural sugar cane, 4 tins to keep the tea leaves fresh, and a measuring spoon. The price was 69.99. Though she loves regular tea from the bags, I'm wondering now after I bought the gift set if it was worth it. The tea taste great from what I sample, especially the Chai and Oolong(not in the gift set). I'm really hoping she loves it. Has anyone ever purchased or have tried anything from there? If so what is your thoughts or any suggestions??

They told me tea leaves are all natural and no calories or fat.

Did they tell you about the caffein levels?  Can pose a problem, just like caffein in coffee for those with hypertension and heart problems.

I get a kick out of the natural arguments.  Poison ivy, oak and sumac leaves are natural, but I don't think I'd make a salad with them.  Many natural things are harmful and even deadly.

I'm not saying tea falls into this category, only that the natural argument doesn't carry much weight.
