how do you resize a picture to post on here or put as an avatar it says all mine are to big it angers me

if you have photoshop its easy....if you dont but have windows 7 do this:

Start>type "paint" press enter> open op image in paint> on the ribbon you will see resize. Make sure you do percentages instead of pixel size.

irfanview, best simple photo software available that ive used in my opinion. very easy to resize pictures and also reduces the file size a great deal too, which is great if youre planning to upload them. theres also a few other great options, though it doesnt have the options of a program like photoshop. its not the resource hog that photoshop is, doesnt horribly distort quality like ms paint will either. and the best part is its free. i recommend everyone looking for simple photo software give Irfanview a try...

So for all you smart guys. How come pics I post on BR are so much bigger than every other site I post on? I copy and paste the exact same image code from photobucket. Pics show up larger here. Makes me think the fish I catch are actualy big.
