Flex Fit fer crying out loud!!!!

When are these hat manufacturers going to realize that straps went out 10 years ago?  Flex fit is the only hat worth buying.

And while I'm on the subject of hats, dammit Shimano, come up with something worth having.

Another reason not to own a Cubs hat.

Burley, flex fits if anything are the nanciest form of hat ever.

You'd be the guy in the old west wearing the purple cowboy hat with the suuuuuuper duper elastic band

I don't really like any of my flexfit hats. New Era 59-50 broken in is the way to go. They're more personal since they mold to your head.

Not a fan of flexfit either.

You're all insane.  Clinically insane.

I bought one hat that was flex fit and hated it. I prefer The Franchise style hats.

Flexfits are very hit or miss.  Lately they seem to be getting better, but at first they were terrible IMO.  5950s are terrible.  Unless you want to wear a hat as tall as Abe Lincoln, or play as a fake hoodrat.

The New Era flex fits are strange.  I've got a couple of Cubs 3930's.  The BP hat's crown is too tall and exhibits the same problems as the 5950.  The mesh-backed 3930's are great and fit quite well.

I've grown quite partial to mesh-backed hats over the last few years.  The 3930 is one of the best.

My main reason for liking the flex fit is that with my huge melon, most 'one size fits most' hats do not fit.  The L/XL flex fit is perfect.

I hate agreeing with you.  It must be wrong.  I have wore out my Vols 3930 mesh backed hat over the last year and a half.

I've got a couple of Cubs hats, a couple of TN Smokies hats and a couple of UT hats in my junk hat pile.  Have a nice Cowboys mesh Reebok that fit pretty well (almost all of the flex fit Reebok NFL hats I've tried fit quite well) as well.

Really wanted another UT mesh last fall, but couldn't find anything in the bookstore.

Almost as much as I hate having a size S Castlewood hat.   ::)

Why do you think I gave you that hat.  I couldnt hardly squeeze into that thing when Scammell gave it to me.  The other one I have fits much better.

I have a flexfit Cowboys hat I hate from Reebok.  Its not a mesh back though.

I bought Tommy a flex-fit Skins hat for his B-day a few years ago.  Have yet to see him wear it.

Much like all other brands, the Reebok stuff is hit-or-miss.  My Cowboys hat is a draft day hat was an anniversary gift from the ol' lady a couple of years ago.  Great fit.  Bought a plain Colts hat last fall that fits the same way (pretty much exactly like the Cowboys coach's hat with the block D).  Have tried on a few of the Reebok flexes that fit horribly.

Hats are terribly personal and I'm very particular about the way I like my hat to fit.  I've got two Shimano hats from the roadtrip a couple of years ago that rarely get worn.  The crown is too high and I can't pull it down to where I like it without it hitting my ears.  I look like George Bell circa 1989 Score wearing them.

I saw a pic of you looking more like Topps 86ish George Bell once upon a time in a TW hat.

I don't know, the 89ish Score was prob. the best.  Can't find it online.

And I don't recall the photo of me with the hat.   :-?

***, not Thomas Walker.  I thought you favored more Bob Ross than Jorge Bell though.

I have a Reebok flex fit that I have worn for the past 4 years. It has faded to the point that it is close to being white on top. It is the most comfortable hat that I have ever had. If I ever lose it, I WILL cry.  :'( Lets just hope that day never comes.

The only other hats I have really liked wearing in recent years other than that 3930 was the Cooperstown series hats.  I had a Braves 76 hat that perfect.
