Featured Replies

What hooks do you guys use  for wacky rigging senkos? I assume mostly circle hooks but what size? I tryed searching for my answer all ready but didnt find anything after my quick search.

Today was a decent day fishing in the cold. 3 bass one between 4 and 5 lbs. Probably my biggest this year of school. Got it on a 4in senko t-riged. Now i am all senko excited.

thanks,

1/0 or 2/0 owner mosqoito (my #1 hook for wacky rigs with a exposed hook)

1/0 or 2/0 gamakatsu octopus is another one that will work

2/0 falcon K-wacky hook (for a weighted wacky rig)

2/0 reaction innovation W.W. hook (for a weedless wacky rig)

99% of the time i'm wacky rigging I use a 1/0 owner mosqoito hook!!!!

I will use a black o-ring on my wacky rig when using a senko!!!!

When I need to go weedless I will mainly just t-rig the senko weightless!!!!

Genuine circle hooks with no offset for me. Sizes 2 and 4 work fine if you're smooth and easy. No need to prove I'm stronger than a fish 1/10 my size.  ;)

Ditto. I use the ones without the weed guard.

I use the Daiichi Wacky Rig hooks.
