Man, your second pic gave up a secret bait ;), pink trout worms.

Ya don't see them too often but boy do they work when conditions are right!

Beautiful steelhead, my friend.  Those pink trout worms can be a killer bait when fished correctly.

Nice fish though! My first love is bass fishing but I got into salmon and trout about 3 years ago, I needed something to tie me over until bass season opened up.  I met my buddy at work and he was showing me pictures of the fish he was catch in the winter months so I gave it a go and liked it.  Something special when you hook into a fresh steelhead, they are like hooking into a lightening bolt.
