Hi. I'm going stripper fishing next weekend and i've never been before. I have no idea what equipment to use what lb. test line what baits how to work the baits..I have absolutely no knowledge about striped bass fishing. What conditions do they like? Where can you find them? Do they use cover like small mouth and large mouth? If you have any answers to these questions please let me know.

I alwya use jointed lures and 17lb test line and he ones i have fished for are very aggresive

i by no means am an expert but if i no one thing it is that they love the color combinations of red/pink an white other than that i am not sure

Are you fishing a lake, river, or reservoir?  I normally head for the areas with current.  I use a heavy action 7 ft rod, 1.5 oz hair raiser in white with a white tail,  and good strong reel with minimum 30 lb braid.
